What does a Doula do anyway?

A Doula is a person who offers non-medical support to another person.

A Postpartum Doula is a trained professional that offers physical, emotional, and informational support to a new mother or primary parent and the rest of the family. Postpartum Doulas can also offer Breastfeeding support, light household organization, family nurturing, and instruction to mom and/or other family members in the care of a newborn.
